The plant protection agreement for Asia and Pacific region is an international treaty and administered by the APPPC.

International Code of Conduct on the Distribution and use of pesticide

• Published in 1985, updated in 1989, revised in 2002 to reflect changes in management practices and international convention relating to pesticide use.
• To provide comprehensive standard for pesticide activities and severe as a pesticide of references in relation to sound pesticide management.

Codex Alimentarius

• For safe, good food for everyone and everywhere.
• Established by FAO and WHO in 1963 to develop international food standards, guidelines codes of practices and recommendation for food safety.
• Currently the CODEX has 185 member Countries and one member organization EU.
