Inferential statistics
- Used to prove or disprove theories.
- Determine associations between variables.
- To find if the findings are significant.
- Whether or not, can generalize from one sample, the entire population.
Types of inferential statistics
a) Correlation
b) t-tests/ ANOVA
c) Chi-square
d) Logistic regression
Note:
i) Correlation and t-test is used for categorical/ Nominal data
ii) Chi-square and logistic regression for continuous data.
