Dapog method :
- Came in Nepal from Philippines.
- Seed bed preparation is not necessary.
- Seedlings are raised in open field , polythene sheet , cemented floor , wooden platforms or banana leaves.
- The area requirement is only 40 m2 per hactare.
- Banana stem or woods are used to protect side of bed.
- Sprinkle water 3 times daily.
- Seedling are ready for transplanting within 2 weeks.
- Thus, in this method, seedlings are grown under soil less condition.
