- So, bright sunny days coupled with sufficient moisture are favorable for better growth , development and yield.
C) Soil Requirement :
- Structure : Thrives well in arable and and well drained soil structure.
D) Rainfall :
- Its drought tolerant crop
- Can be grown in region having annual rainfall between 500-1000 mm.
- In region having higher annual rainfall , it is cultivated by transplanted method.
