Post harvest Management
a) Pre-cooling:
- Done to remove field heat before packing.
- Fruit surface must be free from moisture before grading, wrapping or packing in cartoon.

b) Grading:
- According to fruit size and fruit appearance or quality.
- Apple fruits can be graded in three or more quality grades.
- Divided into Extra fancy, fancy class1 and fancy class 2.

c) Storage:
- Can be stored to 4-8 months.
- Store in the cold storage at the temperature -1.1-0 degree c.
- Humidity : 85-90 %.
