• Mortality ranges from 60-100%
• Increased with close contact

a) Etiology:

• Mycoplasma capricolum

b) Transmission:

• Incubation period is 6-10 days
• Carrier animal
• Inhalation of infected droplets

c) Symptoms:

• Respiratory system
• High fever, anorexia
• Cough
• Extended neck
• Nasal discharge

d) Differential diagnosis:

• Pasteurellosis
• PPR

e) Diagnosis:

• Severe respiratory distress
• Isolation/ identification
• PCR
• ELISA test

f) Treatment:

• Antibiotics
• Slaughter of infected animal
• Quarantine
• Disinfection
• Vaccination
