Pinning position for insects

  1. Mesothorax ( in between two wings) : Eg: Butterflies, Moths, Mantids, Cockroaches, Flies, Wasps, Bees, etc.
  2. Pronotum ( Posterior part): Eg: Grasshopper, Crickets, Tree hopper, Leaf hopper, Plant hopper, Spittle bugs, etc.
