  1. Agalactia: Failure to secrete milk following parturition.
  2. Blind quarter: Mammary gland quarter that doesn’t secrete milk.
  3. Double toned milk: Min. 1.5% fat and 9% SNF.
  4. Edema: Presence of large amount of fluid in the intercellular spaces of body.
  5. Galactopoiesis: Maintenance of lactation.
  6. Ice cream: Contains permitted stabilizers and emulsifiers not exceeding 0.5% by weight.
  7. Milk: Lacteal secretion excluding 15 days before or 5 days after calving.
  8. Pasteurization: Heating milk @ 630C for 30 min. or 720C for 15 min.
  9. Standardized milk: Min. 4.5% fat and 8.5% SNF.
  10. Toned milk: 3% fat and 8.5% SNF.
  11. Double toned milk: 1.5% fat and 9% SNF.
