Some terminologies to remember

a) Cleistogamy : Flower never open. Eg: Some varieties of wheat, oat and barley.

b) Chasmogamy: Flower opens after pollination. Eg: Wheat, Oat, Barley

c) Homogamy: Flower matures at same time.

d) Dichogamy: Different maturity period of pollen and stigma.

e) Herkogamy: Physical barrier between anther and sigma. Eg; Calotropis.
