Hazards in agriculture

  • It includes the following:

a) Machinery: Tractors, trucks and harvesters, and cutting + piercing tools.

b) Chemicals: Pesticides, fertilizers, antibiotics and other veterinary products.

c) Toxic or allergic agents: Plants, flowers, dust, animal waste, gloves, oils.

d) Carcinogenic substance: Arsenicals and phenoxy acetic herbicides, UV radiations, Parasitic diseases.

e) Transmissible animal disease: Brucellosis, bovine tuberculosis, rabies, etc.
