Strategies for conservation and utilization of ABD

1. Create public awareness at local and central level.
2. Adoption of conservation methods like in-situ, ex-situ, on farm, etc.
3. Promote of application of scientific technique and knowledge based on indigenous knowledge of local people.
4. Enhance cooperation and coordination among different stakeholder.
5. Conduct technology generation/exchange of genetic resources.
6. Addressing the threat to ABD.
7. Developing institutional and legislative mechanism to support conservation of ABD.
