Babesiosis:
- Characterized by hemoglobinuria, anaemia and pulmonary oedema

- Babesia bigemina
- Incubation period: 5-10 days
b) Symptoms:
- High fever ( 105-1070F)
- Anaemia
- Enlargement of spleen and liver
- Oedema in lungs
c) Diagnosis:
- Blood test
- Symptoms of lesions
- Immunological test
