Prevention of over feeding:

a) Recognize the natural cues of your baby and feed accordingly.

b) Don’t attempt to feed your child the moment he starts crying.

c) Keep a check on suckling activities by using a pacifier or a safe toy.

d) Breast-feed if possible.

e) Let baby stop eating when they want.

f) Avoid giving baby juice or sweetened drinks.

g) Introduce fresh, healthy foods around 6 months of age.
