Modified Dapog method :
- It came in Nepal from Philippines.
- This method overcomes drawback of dapog method.
- Pre-germinated seeds are grown and covered with gunny bags for about 2 days and irrigate with water twice a day.
- After 3 days , gunny bags are removed and water level is maintained about 1 cm.
- After a week , fertilizer can be sprayed.
Advantages of Modified Dapog method :
- Seedlings are healthy compared to dapog method.
- Seedlings can be kept in bed for 3 weeks.
- Seedlings are easy in uprooting as tray can be grown on sand or ash medium.
