Selection of seed :

Quality seed should be selected in terms of physical purity , germination percentage , moisture content and health.
Buy seed from authorized seed dealer with tag or level attached on bag or packet.
Select seed according to suitable agro-climatic conditions.
Treat seed with chemicals like cereson wet 2.5 % or Bavistin @ 2g/kg seed.
If the farmers uses his own seed , select healthy seed as necessity.
