Selection of seed :
- Quality seed should be selected in terms of physical purity , germination percentage , moisture content and health.
- Buy seed from authorized seed dealer with tag or level attached on bag or packet.
- Select seed according to suitable agro-climatic conditions.
- Treat seed with chemicals like cereson wet 2.5 % or Bavistin @ 2g/kg seed.
- If the farmers uses his own seed , select healthy seed as necessity.
