Definition:

It is defined as the state in which there is inadequacy of blood throughout the body and tissues and cells get damaged.

 

Stages of shock:

It is generally divided into three stages:

  1. Compensated stage: it is an non progressive stage where normal circulatory mechanism can cause the full recovery and does not become worse.
  2. A progressive stage: it is the condition in which shock gets worsen until death.

Uncompensated stage: it is the stage in which there in no any therapy and life cannot be saved.
