Gout
It is the condition when there is accumulation of urate crystals in synovial fluids resulting in inflammation and acute arthritis.
The uric acids may get deposited around joints causing swelling (tophi). This is also referred as gouty arthritis.

It is generally seen in genetic defects like
- Lesch-Nyhan Syndrome
- Adenosine Deaminase Deficiency
