Strategies used in developed and developing countries

a) The right to development must be fulfilled so as equitably meet the developmental and environmental need of present and future generation.

b) For sustainable development environmental protection shall constitute an integral part of development process and can’t be isolated from it.

c) Government should facilitate and encourage public awareness and participation by making information widely available.

d) Development of law regarding liability and compensation for victims of pollution and other environmental damage.

e) Cooperation to discourage or prevent relocation and transfer to other state, region, locality that can cause several environmental damages or found to harm human health.

f) Women have vital role in environmental management and development therefore, their participation is vital in sustainable development.

g) EIA as a national instrument shall be undertaken for purposed activities that may affect the environment.

h) Reorganization and full support to identify culture and interest of the indigenous

community and ensure their effective participation.
