The components incorporated with the principles of sustainable development of agriculture are equity, environment and economic growth. These are explained as below:

 

a) Link between economic growth and management of natural resources is to be made.

b) Sustainable development should be initiated as a process of economic growth as poverty is hindrance to sustainable development.

c) Agricultural development should meet the need of present generation without degrading natural phenomena so that it is also relished by future generations.

d) The basic concept and practices of environmental conservation must be an integral

part of the process of developing new technologies and innovation.
