  • A farm power for various agricultural operations can be broadly classified as:

A) Tractive work:

  • Where machine is moved.
  • For eg: seed bed preparation, cultivation, harvesting and transportation.

 

B) Stationary Work:

  • Where machine is fixed at a place.
  • For eg: For silage cutting, feed grinding, threshing, winnowing and lifting
  • of irrigation water.
