Adjustments of Level Circuits
- When errors accumulate in a level circuit, adjustments are made to ensure the final results are accurate. The process of adjustment distributes errors equally across all stations in the survey.
- If e is the total error between the initial elevation and the final closing elevation, and there are n number of stations, the correction applied to each station is:
Correction per station =𝑒/𝑛
- This corrected value is then applied to the computed reduced levels (RLs) of each station to obtain the adjusted reduced levels.
