Detailed Estimation method
- For finding the probable detail dimension of each component is measured (l, b, h) and calculation is done. For estimation and costing, following materials are required:

a) Well designed drawings with measurements
- It is as map of structure drawn to the scale including plans, sectional views, and elevations and sections such that each component of structure could be visualized.
- The drawing of the building or structure shows the arrangements of rooms and various parts with dimensions (l, b, h) with very brief description parts.

b) Specification
- Specification includes nature of work, quality and class of work.
- Materials to be used in the different parts of work, quantity of materials the proportion and method of preparation. The cost of the work depends much upon the specification.
- Specification should be clear from the specification, one can easily understood what the work should be done and its nature of work.
