Estimation and costing

  • It means to calculate the appropriate quantity of materials, requirements and the cost expenditure for the construction of any items like storage buildings, poultry houses etc.

 

Estimation

The process of finding out the probable cost of construction before the construction is known as estimation. A good estimation doesn’t differ more than 10 % of actual cost required. There are 2 types of estimation:

  1. Approximate method
  2. Detailed method
