Levelling Staffs:
- Self-reading Staff: Observed by the level operator directly.
- Solid Staff: A solid, rigid staff.
- Folding Staff: A foldable, portable staff.
- Telescopic Staff: Can be extended for use.
- Target Staff: Has a sliding target, and readings are taken by sighting the target with the level’s telescope.
