Flowering and Fruiting

  • Flowers are perfect, solitary, sessile, in advance of foliage, pink in color
  • Flowering starts in first week of February and continues till the end of Feb
  • Under low temp condition, swelling buds are injured at -6.5°C
  • Sites which are free from spring frost are suitable as peaches bloom early in the season
