Physiological disorders

a) Rosette and Bunch:

  • It is caused by Zinc deficiency.
  • Initial symptoms occur mostly on the branches in the top of the tree.
  • Leaves becomes yellowish and mottled. In advance stage, leaflets becomes narrow and crinkled on lower branches.
  • It can be controlled by spraying zinc sulphate on leaves twice or @ 2 pounds per 100 gallons of water.

 

b) Internal breakdown:

  • The internal part becomes soft and watery.
  • The actual cause is still unknown.
