Margination:

  • In normal circulation in vessel, red and white cells are confined at central axial column

 

Due to slowing of blood flow, WBC gets out of central axial column. This is called margination.—————————–>

——-> After leukocytes gets at peripheral site, they starts to tumble (roll over) endothelial cells and adhere their for short period. This process of loose sticking of leukocytes to endothelium is called rolling.
