• It utilizes appropriate technology and appropriate traditional farming methods.
• Organic farming is not only increase productivity, but also arrest degradation as well as reclaim, rehabilitate, restore and enhance biological diversity and monitor adverse effects on ecology.
• IPM, biological control, no-till agriculture, multi-cropping, intercropping, crop rotation and agricultural forestry for maintaining the agro-ecosystem.
• Living ecological systems and production is to be based on ecological processes, and recycling.
