Gaseous formulations

a. Dry fumigants:

  • Insecticides used as dry solid which, come in contact with atmosphere, liberate toxic gases and are deposit on the surface as fine particles.
  • The tablet of Aluminum Phosphide is used to control stored grain pests.

 

b. Liquid fumigants:

  • Fumigants are most often formulated as liquid carbon disulphide and carbon tetrachloride are colorless liquids used for stored grain pests.
