Seed Harvesting and Storage:

• Seeds can be harvested when 60-70 % pods are turn yellow to brown, otherwise shattering is a big problem.
• It is advisable to harvest lot wise depending on the maturity, if possible.
• Keep in pile for curing in threshing floor and cover by polythene.
• Seeds can be threshed with sticks on the floor with sufficient cushion.
• Dry the seeds to the moisture content of 6-8 %. .
• Seed can be stored in cool and dry place.
• Seed Yield: Average seed yield of Broccoli of early maturing cultivar is 500-600 Kg per hectare, however it depends of variety and growing condition.
