Varieties

a) Pusa Ruby: Indeterminate, early maturing, red slightly flattened and furrowed fruit, uniform ripening, heavy yielder and appropriate fro growing in all agro-climatic condition of Nepal

b) Pusa Early Dwarf: Determinate, very early, redflattish round fruit, uniform ripening, slightly acidic, appropriate for terai and mid hills

c) Roma: Determinate, very early, elliptical, red, prolific bearer (high number of fruits), sppropriate for both mid hills and terai, useful for processing.

d) Monoprecos: Indeterminate, round red and slightly acidic

e) Manisha: Tall tree, red oval shape fruit, can be harvested from Asoj to Ashar

f) Srijana: Tall tree, resistant to bacterial wilt and blight diseases, round shape fruit

g) Lapsiigede: Tall tree, flattened fruit, appropriate for vegetable and pickle making

h) Laxmi: Highly productive
