Below are some commonly used antibiotics for UTIs in animals, along with approximate dosages:

 

  1. Amoxicillin/Clavulanic Acid (Clavamox):

   – Dosage for dogs and cats: 6.25 mg to 12.5 mg per pound (13 to 25 mg/kg) every 12 hours.

  

  1. Cephalexin (Keflex):

   – Dosage for dogs: 10 mg to 15 mg per pound (22 to 33 mg/kg) every 8 to 12 hours.

   – Dosage for cats: 10 mg per pound (22 mg/kg) every 8 to 12 hours.

 

  1. Enrofloxacin (Baytril):

   – Dosage for dogs: 5 mg to 20 mg per pound (10 to 40 mg/kg) once daily.

   – Dosage for cats: 5 mg to 20 mg per pound (10 to 40 mg/kg) once daily.
