It is the branch of pharmacology that deals with the study of absorption, distribution, metabolism and excretion of drugs. Word ‘pharmacokinetics’ is derived from Greek words “pharmakon” meaning drug and “kinesis” meaning movement. In general, it is ‘what does the body do to the drug’. It includes:
