Urea Toxicity and Management:
- Urea toxicity may occur when consumed excessive amount of treated straw at once.
- Signs of toxicity:
- Difficulty in respiration
- Excessive salivation
- Bellowing
- Recumbency
- Management of toxicity:
- Drenching of 20-40 litre cold water immediately mixed with 4 litre acetic acid (vinegar).
