a) SCIMAGOJR : SCIMAGO or SCIMAGO journal rank (SJR) is a measure of influence of scholarly journals and accounts for citations received by journal and the importance of the journals where citations came from.

b) Open Access Journal: It is the Journal available free with unrestricted online access to research outputs such as journals and articles.

c) SCIELO Journal (Scientific Electronic Library Online): It is a bibliographic database, digital library and cooperative electronic publishing model of open access journal. User can search based on

ii) Subject area

iii) Publisher

iv) Journal Title

d) WOS (Web of Science): It is a journal search and indexing database.

e) SCIMAGO Quartile ranking: Top 25% article/journals.

f) i10: The no. of publications with at least 10 citations. Used by google scholar to help gauge the productivity of a scholar.

g) Scientific communication: Process of distilling technical information about science-related topics into under stable messages and stories for public consumption. It is generally carried out to make public understand easily technical information.

h) Predatory Journal: It prioritize self-interest at the expense of scholarship and are characterized by false or misleading information, lack of transparency and use of aggressive words.
