Identification

  • Egg: Inside the
  • Nymph: brownish olor but green color as they
  • Adult: Transverse dark line on prothorax in hieroglyphs baniana and oxya nitidula are small green in color and longitudinal brown streak on either side of thorax.

 

Life cycle:-

Egg –2-3 days –> Nymph –2-2.5 days—> Adult

 

Management

  • Collect and destroy
  • Larval parasite is banded blister attack egg of grasshopper
  • Fish cum rice farming (mangur).
  • Scraping the field
