Insect-Pest Management

• Collect and destroy the adult and eggs.
• Field sanitation.
• Protect natural predator.
• Use Chloropyriphos 20 or Malathion.
• Use 1% Kerosene water or yellow sticky trap.
• Spray Neem fruits extract and tobacco extract.

Disease Management

• For controlling rust; foliar spray of DM-45 @ 0.2%, Bayleton @ 500gm/ha, Mancozeb @ 0.2% and sulphur dusting.
• 8-quinolinol sulphate for wilt and soil solarization or carbendazim @ 2g/kg seed.
• Seed treatment with Thiram & spray Benlate, Captan @ 2kg/ha for Anthracnose.
