Plant Nutrient Management

  • OM improve moisture retention, physical condition and supply micro-nutrients.
  • FYM: 10-15 t/ha.
  • NPK: 20-25:40-80:30-40 kg NPK/ha.
  • Foliar spray of 2% urea at flowering has been found beneficial in rainfed crops.
  • Higher P efficiency when band placed.
  • Zinc application enhances root growth, nodulation and nitrogen content of nodules.
  • Foliar application of 0.5% Zinc Sulfate mixed with 0.25% lime was also effective in correcting zinc deficiency.
  • Foliar spray of 0.5% (w/v) ferrous sulphate has been found effective in correcting iron deficiency.
