Lifecycle of Aspergillus
- Commonly known as blue mould and grows on almost all kinds of feed stuffs, leather goods, fabrics and books.
- Generally, are saprophytic but a few ( fumigatus) are parasitic on animals.
- Mycelium consists of an interwoven mass of hyphae.
- Hyphae are hyaline, septate, much branched and multinucleate.
