Humidity

  • The relative humidity in the initial incubation period is 60%-65%, and the medium term is 50%-55%.
  • In the late stage (the hatching period), the humidity is increased to 70%-75%.
  • Humidity is related to the evaporation of water in the egg and the metabolism of the embryo. At the beginning of the incubation period, the appropriate humidity can make the embryos evenly heated. At the end of the incubation period, increasing the humidity is good for heat dissipation and clamshell.
  • When the humidity is low, the water in the egg evaporates quickly, and the shell is released in advance, the chick baby is small, and it is easy to dehydrate.
  • When the humidity is high, the water evaporates slowly, prolongs the incubation time, the chick baby is larger, and the abdomen is softer.
