Objectives of M.S.S.

  1. To manage the sales and distribution of milk and their products, collection, processing, preservation and distribution to the consumer at national level.
  2. To work with the principle of development in economic condition of producers and improve the health condition of consumers.
  3. To encourage the production and management of Chauri/Yak in Nepal.

 

National Dairy Development Board (N.D.D.B.) was established in 2048 BS for providing modern technology and scientifically based new technology to the dairy farmer so that their economic condition will improve to maintain their family size.

 

The main objectives of N.D.D.B are

  1. To help the government in making the policy and perfect planning to develop the dairy industry at national level.
  2. To formulate the strategy and planning for dairy development and act them to the dairy industries.
  3. To find out the solution for problem concerning to the livestock development and animal health to develop the dairy industry in Nepal.
  4. To establish the mutual co-operation between private dairies and government dairies to fulfill the gap of demand and supply throughout the country.
  5. To formulate the policy for higher study and research work to develop the milk industries.
  6. To manage the pasture land and feed industry for feeding the animals to enhance the productivity.
