Docking :

• The art of cutting of tail is called as docking.
• The length of docked tail should be just long enough to cover vulva in female.
• Generally done at 2-12 weeks depending upon species.
• Docking in sheep is done to improve fleece quality.

Dipping :

• The act of plunging animal in solution (water containing chemical ) is known as dipping.
• It is done to control ectoparasite , antiseptic to wash.

Preparation of dipping solution :

Drenching :

• Forecefully administer of drug in liquid state orally to animal.
• Done to control ectoparasite mainly.
• Drenching gun , drenching pipe , drug wooden pipe are required.
