Handling of plant materials

During handling of plant materials, following points should be taken under consideration:

  • Irrigate before pulling out the plant materials
  • Keep small earth ball for longer distance
  • Give minimum shock to the plants during planting
  • If they are received in advance, for deciduous type make a trench in shade and store these materials in plant position
  • Evergreen type can be stored just in shade and sprinkled water periodically in balls
