Planting Season

a) Evergreen fruits:

• They can be planted in 2 seasons:
• Before monsoon (jestha): practiced in less rainfall areas
• After monsoon (bharda, ashwin) : in high rainfall areas

b) Deciduous fruits:

• During early spring (February-march) when they are still in dormant stage
