Potato tuber moth (Phthorimoea operculella)

a. Nature of damage:

  • Larva is pale greenish.
  • Adult is small with narrow fringed wings; forewings grey brown with dark spots and hind wings dirty white.

 

b. Nature of damage:

  • Tubers bored by caterpillars associated with fungal or bacterial infection.
