Some terminologies

Adjustment

  • Social adjustment can be defined as a psychological process. It frequently involves coping with new standards and values.
  • Adjustment is getting along with the members of the society as best as one can.

 

Amalgamation

  • Amalgamation occurs when two or more culture merged into single new culture that contains elements of both as well as some entirely new elements representing a synthesis of the two.
  • Mexico, for example, is an amalgamation of Spanish and native American cultures

 

 

Consensus

  • Consensus may be considered as a game in which both parties strive to gain the maximum advantage, but are prepared to give advantage to the other within reasonable limits so as to reach a settlement.
