Rural Urban Continuum

It states that the notion of rural urban difference has no existence due to increasing urbanism in the sub – urban and urbanization with in the cities. There are some difficulties while to compare rural urban societies. Generally, these difficulties are:

• There is no universal definition of village and town
• There is difference only of degrees between village and town
• The environment of the city and village are different
• Both village and town change over time
