– Whether an idea on a project is viable or not.

– If project passes the criteria , develop a strong plan.

– If fails , project is dropped and next opportunity will be searched.

– Answers the question , “ Should we proceed with this project idea ?”.

– Serves as filter and investigate tool for screening out ideas.

a) If the project will attract customers ?

b) If the local people will support the project ?

c) Can the product be build at reasonable cost ?
