Types of Evaluation :

Based on time :

a) Pre-evaluation : Done before implementation.

b) On-going evaluation : Done during implementation.

c) Terminal evaluation : Done at the end of project.

d) Ex-post evaluation : Done after 2 or more years of completion of project.

 

Based on Agent :

a) Self evaluation : carried out by every worker as a matter of routine.

b) Internal evaluation : carried out by the agency responsible for the planning and implementation of the program.

c) External evaluation : Conducted by a person or a committee outside the area of operation.
