Department of Agriculture (DOA)

a) Goal

• To increase the agriculture production through transfers of technology, effective training and information system for sustainable development of socioeconomic conditions have the majority and marginalized farmers.

b) Objectives

• Adopt effective extension methods of agriculture extension.
• Effective bottom-up planning approach.
• Effective implementation, supervision, monitoring and evaluation of agriculture development program.
• Coordinate between NGOs, INGOs, private and government for implementation agriculture programs.
• Involvement of small and marginalized farmers and women in agriculture programs.
• Focus on environmental protection on planning agriculture activities.
• Develop farmer’s problem oriented technologies and replicate them.
